MagnaChip Completes Buy of Korean Firm

Magnachip Semiconductor, the Korean-based developer of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors which bases its U.S. operations in Cupertino, said today that it has completed its acquisition of Korean semiconductor firm Dawin Electronics Co. Ltd. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Dawin manufactures Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT), Fast Recovery Diode (FRD) and MOSFET modules.
