Dropbox Adds U2's Bono, The Edge As Investors

San Francisco-based Dropbox, the developer of the online cloud storage services for documents, said Monday that it has added U2's Bono and The Edge as investors in the firm. The investment is most likely through Elevation Partners, the private equity and investment firm which Bono is a partner and investor in. Size of the investment was not disclosed, and the firm did not say if the two participated in a new round of funding or the huge, $250M round the company announced in October.
