GEO Semiconductor Raises $1.0M

Santa Clara-based GEO Semiconductor, a developer of graphics processors for the smartphone market, said Wednesday that it has completed a $1M, Series A funding round. Details on the funding were not released. It's unclear if the $1.0M is part of a round announced in October by the company. Source of the new funding was not disclosed. The firm said it is now focused on a $10M, Series B funding round--also mentioned in October. GEO Semiconductor develops ICs which correct optical and alignment issues on smartphones, surveillance cameras, automotive cameras, and other products.
