LED Engin Finds More Funding

San Jose-=based LED Engin, a developer of solid state lighting components and optics, reported today that it has completed a Series E funding round. Size of the orund was not disclosed. The round was led by GVT Fund, and also included MSIVC, WK Technology Fund, Partech International, NGP Energy Technology Partners, and Dr. Keh-Shew Lu. The firm said the funds go towards manufacturing capacity and expansion of its sales and marketing. LED Engin is headed by David Tahmassebi. More information »
