Shape Security Secures $6M
Mountain View-based Shape Security, a developer of web defense and security technology, said this morning that it has raised $6M in a Series A financing round. The round was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and TomorrowVentures, the investment arm of Google Chairman Eric Schmidt. Peter Wagner, former Accel partner, Baseline Ventures, as well as other angels also participated. KPCB's Ted Schlein and Sequoia's Guarav Garg have joined the company's board as part of the funding.
