Zimbio Lands $8.9M For Fashion

San Carlos-based Zimbio, which operates a network of fashion, beauty, celebrity, and entertainment websites, said this morning that it has raised $8.9M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, and also included Great Oaks Venture Capital, Fenwick & West Investments, Draper Associates and Comerica Bank. Zimbio, which is headed by Tony Mamomne, said the funding will go towards scaling its product and editorial staff, a sales team, and upcoming product launches. Zimbio operates Zimbio.com and Stylebistro.com.
