Redwood Systems Lights Up With $11.75M More
Fremont-based Redwood Sytsems, a developer of smart building lighting systems which provide smart lighting and power savings for buildings, reported it has raised $11.75M in a Series C funding. The company, led by Dave Leonard, said the funding came from Battery Ventures, U.S. Venture Partners, Index Ventures and Mitsui & Co, Ltd. Redwood Systems develops low-voltage, DC-based lighting systems which the company saves companies an average of 75 percent over traditional lighting systems. The company says its customers include Facebook, SAP and Volkswagen. More information »
