OVIA Becomes Wowzer, Gains Funding

Sunnyvale-based OVIA, a developer of video screening and interviewing technology, said today that it has renamed itself Wowzer, and received a funding from a Tokyo-based recruiting firm, Recruit Co. Ltd. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. Wowzer said new brand is a "more memorable, fun name". Wowzer is led by Rodrigo Maritnez; the firm also previously raised capital from DCM. More information »
