Loggly Scores $5.7M

San Francisco-based online log management service Loggly said today that it has raised $5.7M in funding. The firm, which helps companies manage and analyze their software logs, said the funding came from True Ventures, Trinity Ventures, and Matrix Partners. Loggly said the funding will go expand its team. As part of the funding, the company said Charlie Oppenheimer has been named CEO of the firm, and Jim Nisbit has been named CTO. Oppenheimer is the former CEO of Digital Fountain and Aptiva, and was EIR at Matrix Partners. Nisbit has served at RSA, Tablus, and DataTools. More information »
