Tapingo Plugs Into $3.5M
San Francisco-based Tapingo, a developer of mobile payment and commerce software, announced today that it has raised $3.5M in a funding round. The round came from Carmel Ventures. The company, which has R&D operations in Israel, allows students to order and pay for food and goods at college campuses. As part of the funding, Schlomo Dovrat of Carmel Ventures has joined the company's board. Tapingo is headed by Daniel Almog. More information »
