Redpoint Closes $130M Brazilian Investment Fund
Menlo Park-based Redpoint Ventures has just closed a new, $130M fund to focus on investments in Brazil, the company announced this morning. Redpoint e.ventures will invest in early stage Brazilian startups, the fund said, with a locally based team. The new fund is a joint venture between Redpoint and investment firm e.ventures, and will be managed by Yann de Vries and Anderson Thees. redpoint said the new fund will be based in Sao Paulo.
