Shutterfly Buys ThisLife

Redwood City-based Shutterfly said this morning that it has acquired Palo Alto-based Thislife, the developer of an online photo and video sharing service. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Thislife was founded by Andrea and Matt Johnson, both of whom join Shutterfly as part of the acquisition. Shutterfly also said ThisLife's other employees will be joining the company. ThisLife develops a service which helps to automate the storage and organization of consumer photos, and which also includes iPhone and iPad applications.
