Liquid Robotics Gets $45M For Ocean Going Robots

Sunnyvale-based Liquid Robotics, a developer of autonomous, oceangoing robotics being used for ocean floor mapping and ocean observation and surveillance, said today that it has raised $45M in a Series E funding round. The round was led by Riverwood Capital, and also included existing investors, which include VantagePoint Capital Partners.
