Pluribus Networks Brings Series C To $44M
Palo Alto-based Pluribus Networks, which develops network virtualization and acceleration hardware, said today that it has now raised $44M in its Series C funding round, after an injection from China Broadband Capital (CBC). The firm--which announced the first close of its Series C in December--said investors participating in the funding also include Menlo Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, and Mohr Davidow Ventures. The company said the funding will go towards meeting customer demand in China. The first close of the funding had been worth $23M, making China Broadband Capital's investment worth around $21M.
