Simple.TV Get $5M For Broadcast TV Streaming
San Francisco-based Really Simple Software, the company which operates the Simple.TV streaming video service, has raised $5M in a Series A financing round. The funding came from New World Ventures, the venture capital arm of The Pritzker Group. Simple.TV is an online service which lets users access live TV via streaming, from their consumer electronic devices. The firm said the funding will go to expand its platform. Simple.TV was founded by Mark Ely and Bruce Randall. Simple.TV is also backed by Accanto PArtners. More information »
