Curious Launches Online Learning Marketplace With $7.5M

Menlo Park-based startup Curious.com launched a new, online marketplace for learning and lessons today, saying that it is backed by $7.5M in funding from Redpoint Ventures and angels Bill Campbell, Jesse Rogers and Justin Kitch. Curious.com operates an online marketplace where people can find lesons on any kind of subject, from other users. The firm is headed by Justin Kitch, the former CEO and founder of Homestead, which was acquired by Intuit. A regulatory filing indicates the funds were actually raised back in June of last year.
