TheHunt Gets Investment From Tyra Banks

San Francisco-based social shopping site TheHunt has received an investment from celebrity investor Tyra Banks, the company said MOnday, via her investment arm, Fierce Capital. Size of the new investment was not disclosed. Fierce Capital is the investment arm of the TYra Banks Company. According to The Hunt, the investment is the first fashion investment for Fierce Capital, focused on investing in companies which are led by females or are focused on females. The new funding comes on top of existing investments in The Hunt from Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary (AGR-ade Investments), Rohan Oza (Coca Cola, Idea Merchants Capital), RedOne (producer to Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez), Keli Lee (ABC Entertainment Group) and Anjula Acharia-Bath (A-Series Entertainment).
