Electric Cloud Finds $8M

San Francisco-based Electric Cloud, which develops products used to automate Agile and other software delivery and operations, has raised $8M in a funding round, the company said today. The funding was led by Siemens Venture Capital, and also included US Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, RRE Ventures and Rembrandt Venture Partners. Electric Cloud focuses on the DevOps market, the growing area of software development which involves rapid coding, integration, and testing of software closely tied to frequent delivery of software builds.
