Accel-KKR Invests In Medical Information Exchange Provider
Menlo Park-based private equity investor Accel-KKR said today that it has made a majority investment in EA Holdings, which owns two medical information business. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. EA Holdings runs National Electronic Attachment, Inc. (NEA) and Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc. (MEA), two companies in the secure, health information exchange business. Both companies help capture, store, and transmit medical and dental information between health plans and healthcare providers.
