Phoenix Technologies Buys Iolo

Milpitas-based BIOS and embedded software developer Phoenix Technologies said Monday that it has acquired iolo technologies, a developer of PC and mobile optimization software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. iolo was based in Los Angeles, California, and was private-equity backed by Marlin Equity Partners.
