Twitter Looks To Raise $1.6 Billion In IPO
San Francisco-based Twitter revealed Thursday that it is looking to sell 70 million shares of its common stock, at between $17.00 and $20.00 per share, netting the company more than $1.6 billion. The plans--revealed in an updated S-1--would value Twitter at more than $10 billion. Twitter first filed its IPO documents three weeks ago. The company is looking to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol TWTR.
