Veracyte Slips Slightly In IPO Debut

South San Francisco-based Veracyte debuted this morning in its IPO, and was trading slightly down after pricing at $13.00 per share lsat night. Veracyte was trading around $12.95 in morning trading, after its IPO as VCYT on the NASDAQ Global Market. Veracyte had filed for an IPO last month. Veracyte is a developer of molecular cytology products, and was backed by Domain Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, TPG Biotech, and Versant Ventures.
