Motif Investing Finds $35M

San Mateo-based Motif Investing, a startup which adds a social angle to investing, allowing investors to invest around "themed" portfolios, has raised $35M in a funding round. The funding came from JPMorgan Chase & Co., Wicklow Capital, and Balderton Capital, as well as Goldman Sachs, Foundation Capital, Ignition Partners, and Norwest Venture Partners. The company said that the funding will go towards international expansion, plus new wealth management services. More information »
