QBotix Gets $12M For Solar Panel Robots

Menlo Park-based QBotix, a developer of robots used for providing sun tracking to solar panel farms, has raised $12M in a Series B funding round, the company said this week. The company said the funding came from E.ON and Iberdrola (Inversiones Financieras Perseo, S.L.), along with New Enterprise Associates, Firelake Capital Management and Draper Nexus.
