MapR Finds $110M From Google Capital, Others

San Jose-based MapR, the developer of the open source Hadoop software--which is widely used in big data and data mining projects--has raised a huge, $110M funding round from Google Capital and others. MapR said the round was led by Google Capital, and also included Qualcomm Ventures,Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, NEA and Redpoint Ventures. More information »
