Siluria Raises $30M For Natural Gas Fuels
San Francisco-basedSiluria, which develops technology to create fuels and chemicals from natural gas, said today that it has raised $30M as part of a Series D funding. The funding was led by Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures (SAEV), and also included the company's prior investors. Siluria is led by Ed Dineen, and develops a technology which converts methane to ethylene, which can later be converted to liquid fuels such as gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. The company says is has now raised just under $100M, and is in the midst of more Series D funding to bring the total in the round to $50M. More information »
