Aldea Pharmaceuticals Takes $24M

Redwood City-based Aldea Pharmaceuticals said this morning that it has raised $24M in a Series B funding round. The funding came from RusnanoMedInvest (RMI) and WuXi PharmaTech Corporate Ventures, along with prior investors Canaan Partners and Correlation Ventures. Aldea Pharmaceuticals is developing treatments for aldehyde metabolism disorders--better known as acute alcohol intoxication. The company is led by William Yelle. More information »
