ItsOn Finds Funding From Cisco

Redwood City-based ItsOn, a developer of cloud-based software for the telecommunications industry, said today that it has scored an investment from Cisco, via Cisco Investments. The funding came as part of its Series C. Size of the funding was not announced. ItsOn said the funding was the second tranche in its Series C, which initially closed at $12.5M. The initial tranche was led by Tenaya Capital. ItsOn says its has now raised $47.5M in venture funding. The company is led by Greg Raleigh. The company's software is used by mobile carriers for policy control, billing, traffic-management and other functions.
