Lob Catches $7M For Printing In The Cloud
San Francisco-based Lob, a startup offering up a REST-based API and related services that allows developers to easily print everything from postcards to photos "on demand" via their apps, has raised $7m in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Polaris Partners, and also included First Round Capital, Floodgate, and individuals. Lob--which was co-founded by Leore Avidar and Harry Zhang--lets app developers send physical mail on-demand using a REST API, including letters, postcards, checks, posters, photos and other print products. The startup is out of Y Combinator. More information »
