Aviary Acquired By Adobe

San Jose-based Adobe said Monday that it has acquired Aviary, the developer of mobile photo editing apps and software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Aviary was venture backed by Bezos Expeditions, Spark Capital, Vision Ventures, and others, and was based in New York. Adobe said it will use the buy to bolster its Adobe Creative SDK software library.
