Mesophere Raises $36M
San Francisco-based Mesosphere, a developer of Linux-based datacenter operating system software, said today that it has raised $36M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Kholsa Ventuers, and also included Andreessen Horowitz, Fuel Capital, and SV Angel. Mesosphere's software sits on top of Linux and lets companies pool together all of their systems to provide fault tolerant applications and services. The company's software is based on the open source Apache Mesos project. Mesosphere is led by Florian Leibert. More information »
