Adobe Buys Fotolia

San Jose-based Adobe said Thursday that it has agreed to pay $800M in cash for Fotolia, which operates an online marketplace for royalty-free stock art and photography. Adobe said it will integrate Fotolia into its Adobe Creative Cloud. Fotolia was based in New York, and is backed by private equity investors Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co and TA Associates. Fotola was founded by Oleg Tscheltzoff.
