Glooko Gains $16.5M For Diabetes Management App

Palo Alto-based Glooko, the developer of mobile apps to help diabetes patients manage their health, has raised $16.5M in a Series B funding round, the company revealed this morning. The funding came from Canaan Partners, Medtronic, and Social+Capital Partnership and Samsung. Glooko's apps connect to glucose monitoring devices from hardware manufacturers, and helps track blood sugar levels of patients, helping them better manage their diabetes.
