Loop Commerce Picks Up $16M For E-Gifting From Angels

Menlo Park-based Loop Commerce, which develops an electronic gifting service, said today that it has raised $16M in a funding round, to go towards expanding its engineering, product, and business teams. The round was led by Oren Zeev and Wicklow Capital and also included Dan Tierney and Stephen Schuler. The company says the round brings its total funding raised to $30M. Other investors in the round included Andrew Fine and Silas Chou Don Katz (Amazon); Mark Carges (eBay); Dan Rose (Facebook); Ken Seiff (Brooks Brothers); Michael Scharff(Toys "R" Us); Ron Offir (Michael Kors); Richard Sarnoff (KKR); Chuck Geiger (Chegg); Roy Rubin (Magento); Dovi Frances (SG); and Mohan Gyani (Blackhawk Networks).
