Minio Finds $3.3M In Seed Round
Palo Alto-based object-based storage startup Minio said this morning that it has raised $3.3M in a seed funding round. The funding came from General Catalyst, Nexus Ventures, AME Cloud Ventures, Index Ventures, and angels Mark Leslie, Brian Stevens, Ben Golub, Lanham Napier and Andrew Feldman. Minio is led by Anand Babu (AB) Periasamy, , who was the founder of Gluster. Minio is focused on creating open source software to help application developers build their own cloud storage services.
