Cohesity Uncloaks With $70M In Funding
Santa Clara-based storage startup b>Cohesity, a developer of enterprise data storage products, launched out of stealth mode today, saying it has raised a total of $70M in funding for its products. The company said it recently raised its $55M Series B funding round, led by ARTIS Ventures and Qualcomm Venturs, along with Accel Partners, Battery Ventures, Google Ventures, and Trinity Ventures, bringing its total raised to $70M. The company had raised $15M in a series A funding in late 2013, from Sequoia and Wing Venture Capital. Cohesity is led by Mohit Aron, who had previously been founder of Nutanix; he also helped design the Google File System.
