Report: Uber Raising $1 Billion From Chinese Fund

San Francisco-based ridesharing service Uber is close to raising $1 billion in a new funding, led by Chinese investor Hillhouse Capital Group, according to the WSJ today. The report says that the investment will allow Hillhouse to gain discounted shares to the company's IPO in the future.
