Doppler Labs Gets $17M For Connected Earbuds

Doppler Labs, a developer of smartphone connected, "smart" earbuds which can be used to adjust what a user is hearing live, has raised $17M in a Series B funding. The company--which has offices in San Francisco--said the funding came from The Chernin Group, David Bonderman's Wildcat Capital Management and Acequia Capital, and Live Nation Entertainment, Universal Music Group and WME.
