Facebook's Oculus Buys Pebbles For Gesture Tracking
Oculus, the virtual reality headset maker which is part of Facebook, has acquired Israeli virtual reality technology developer Pebbles Ltd.. Financial details of the acquisition--which was announced on the Oculus VR blog--were not announced. Reports place the acquisition at around $60M. Oculus said on its blog that Pebbles will help the company to advance virtual reality, tracking, and human-computer interactions.
