Shocard Finds $1.5M For Bitcoin Authentication

Palo Alto-based Shocard, a developer of Bitcoin blockchain-based identity security software, said Friday that it has raised $1.5M in a funding round. The funding came from Morado Ventures Partners, AME Cloud Ventures, Enspire Capital and Digital Currency Group. Shocard is led by Armin Ebrahimi, who was most recently CEO of Advertising.com Dynamic Retargeting (formerly Buysight), and also served as Senior Vice President of Platform Engineering at Yahoo.
