Leanplum Harvests $11.6M
San Francisco-based Leanplum, which develops mobile marketing tools, said this morning that it has raised $11.6M in a Series B funding. The funding came from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, along with Shasta Ventures. The company develops tools that help marketers tailor their marketing to users of mobile phones, using highly personalized, lifecycle marketing--presenting the most relevant ads for a specific user. The startup is led by Momchil Kyurkchiev.
