WSO2 Collects $20M For Expansion Plans

Palo Alto-based WSO2, a developer of open source, application development software, said today that it has raised $20M in funding. The ten year old company said the funding came from Pacific Controls and Toba Capital, and will used for global expansion. WSO2 is led by Dr. Sanjiva Weerawarana, and has seen some major growth in recent years: the company had been ranked #211 on the Deloitte Fast 500 last year, with 459% five year growth.
