MagicCube Finds $2.2M For Mobile Payment Security

Sunnyvale-based MagicCube, a developer of mobile payment security software, said Thursday that it has raised $2.2M in a seed funding. The funding came from Azure Capital, Epic Ventures, Bialla Venture Partners, as well as angels. MagicCube is led by Sam Shawki, and is aiming its software product at smartphone, tablets, wearables, and other devices.
