SRC:CLR Retrieves $10M In Funding Round
San Francisco-based SourceClear, a developer of a software tool to help developers who are using open source code identify vulnerabilities and security issues, raised $10M in a Series A funding, according to the company. The funding came from Index Ventures, along with Storm Ventures. SourceClear, which is ledby Mark Curphey, helps development teams understand underlying security vulnerabilities from the open source tools and libraries they are using. The company said the funding comes on top of an earlier, $1.5M in seed funding from Cisco VP of Engineering Frank Marshall and Justin Somaini, Box's Chief Trust Officer.
