Ruby Ribbon Gets $7.5M For Women's Apparel Sales
Burlingame, California-based Ruby Ribbon said Friday that it has raised $7.5M for the women's apparel efforts, in a Series C funding. The funding was co-led by DBL Partners and Direct Selling Capital, and also included Trinity Ventures and Mohr Davidow Ventures. Norm Matthews of Federated Department Stores, and Cnthia Ringo of DBL Partners both join the company's board with the funding, with Direct Selling's Joey Carter becoming an advisor to the company. Ruby Ribbon uses a network of "Stylists" who use social networking to sell Ruby Ribbon's products.
