Osaro Picks Up $3.3M For AI Technology
San Francisco-based Osaro, a developer of artificial intelligence engines, has raised $3.3M in funding from AME Cloud Ventures, the venture firm run by Jerry Yang, Peter Thiel, and Scott Banister, as part of a seed funding. The company is developing automation software computer and robotic systems driven by advanced machine learning software. The company's CEO is Dr. Itamar Arel, formerly of Binatax, and who was a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, in addition to serving as a Associate Professor at Stanford University.
