Soundtrap Raises $1.5M For Online Collaborative Music Recording Service
Palo Alto- and Stockholm, Sweden-based Soundtrap, the developer of a cloud-based, collaborative music recording service, said today that it has raised $1.5M in a funding round. The funding came from angels Magnus Bergman and Lars Bergstom. The company says it is a competitor to Apple's Garageband. Soundtrap has now raised $2.5M in total. The company's online apps run on iOS, Android, Chromebook, Mac, and Windows, and allows people to collaborate on music from anywhere they are. The startup's CEO and co-founder is Per Emanuelsson.
