Fit Pay Connects With $3.1M
San Francisco-based Fit Pay, a developer of technology which turns wearables into contactless payment devices, has raised $3.1M in a seed funding, the company said today. The funding was led by Giesecke & Devrient (G&D). Fit Pay, led by Michael Orlando, says it uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology to connect to point of sale (POS) terminals. Fit Pay was part of Plug and Play Tech Center's FinTech Accelerator Program. More information »
