Iron.io Bumps Series A To $11.5M

San Francisco-based Iron.io, a developer of cloud-based messaging and task processing services, said today that it has raised additional funding in its Series A funding. The round now stands at $11.5M. The new funding came from Sapphire Ventures, and increases the round size by $3.5M. Sapphire joins Baseline Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, Divergent Ventures, Ignition Partners and Cloud Capital Partners in investing in the company. Iron.io is led by Chad Arimura.
