CoreOS Picks Up $28M For Container Management Tools
San Francisco-based CoreOS, which develops software to deploy, manage, and secure "container" software, has raised $28M in a Series B funding. The company said the funding came from GV (formerly Google Ventures), plus Intel Capital, Accel, Fuel Capital, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), Y Combinator Continuity Fund and others. The company has now raised $48M in total. CoreOS is led by Alex Polvi, and is known for its work on the Tectonic open source container management technology. More information »
